The wait is almost over...

After waiting many months, Downton Abbey will finally be airing it's second season. I've had to work really hard on being good and not spoiling the series by reading recaps or any other spoilers I can lay my hands on. If you didn't know, I am a sucker for English period drama's, especially ones with Maggie Smith. The costumes, the repression, and all the social and class issues!!! I love it all and am looking forward to spending my Sunday evening with a warm cup of tea and some cookies enjoying the first episode. If you haven't had a chance of watching this, I recommend a lazy weekend of watching the first season.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy Hanukkah. I am currently back home in Massachusetts spending the holiday with my parents and younger sister. I wanted to share some pictures I took before leaving for home. This year, my roommates and I decided to make our decorations, so our apartment currently looks like and elementary class decorated our place. We added lights and a mini handmade hanging tree. It's a mice a cozy way to enjoy this holiday season.

Also, I wanted to share glimpses of my holiday outfit. I bought some new shoes, but decided to wear a few of my favorite pieces from my closet to celebrate with my family. I will share those pictures later on. Well, I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday. Once again Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!

Roses Blooming

I love wearing dresses, especially ones that make me feel like such a lady. This dress does exactly that. I've had this for years, but only it wear it once in awhile. My mother gave it to me and we had to do a few alterations, but now it fits like a glove. Even when I gain or lose weight, it still seems to fit. The pattern is just so lovely and perfect for anytime of the year.

Freezing On A Roof

I took these pictures before the dreaded camera incident. You really can't tell, but I was freezing, but what's a little cold for some outfit shots. Just so you know, I am a big fan of this time of year, the end of Autumn transitioning to the beginning of Winter. I love layering on clothes, wearing cozy cardigans and sweaters, baking, and the holidays.

Going to the Theater

I think I'm cursed, yes cursed. My wonderful roommate had lent me her camera and the wind knocked it down and bent the lens. I was able to take a few pictures with her camera, which I will post in the upcoming days. Since another tragedy with a camera has struck, my only options now are my phone (until I pay the camera repair place the money to fix my poor lumix). Anyway, a few weeks ago my other wonderful roommate, Brandon, got me and Sheryl tickets to see a new Broadway play called Lysistrata Jones. I wasn't allowed to snap any pictures inside the theater, but I was able to quickly snap these before getting yelled at my the usher. Other than that, the musical was funny, the songs were catchy, and the cast is quite good looking. If you're ever in NYC, you should check it out.

Broken Camera

Worst thing happened last week, I broke my camera. While taking these pictures on a super windy day on my roof, a big gust knocked my camera down and it broke. So, that is the reason why I haven't posted in forever. With a broken camera, I've just been stretching out the pictures I did take before the incident. Now I have to take it to a repair shop and pay way to much to get it working again.

Well one good thing happened this week. My lovely roommate Sheryl from Not Even Famous was kind enough to let me borrow one of her many camera's. So I am back to taking pictures and being awkward in front of the camera.
