Savage Beauty

On Friday I had a half day at work. With the extra hours on my Friday afternoon, I decided to spend the (rainy and hot) day at the Met to see the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit. After waiting in line for a little over an hour, I entered into the gallery. There are no words to express the beauty, artistry, as well as vision that Alexander McQueen expressed in his designs. To be so close to his work, the quality of the work was amazing. It was one of the most beautiful exhibits I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately, pictures were not allowed inside, but I did buy a few postcards to remember my experience and the amazement I felt when walking into the gallery. Every collection had a story and I wish I had the time to walk through one more time. The exhibit is on display for only one more week at the Met, I hope those who live in NY get the chance to see Savage Beauty.
